- Our Model 450A Apron Weigh Feeder offers a custom designed feeding solution that pairs the rugged conveying capability of an apron belt with precise and dependable gravimetric weighing control. Additionally, our upgrading and modernization capabilities allow older weigh feeders (regardless of make) to be retrofitted with the latest technology which bolsters efficiency, improves accuracy and ensures long-term reliability.

- Heavy duty channel construction
- Flanged infeed section constructed of abrasion resistant steel, designed to suit material flow characteristics
- Totally enclosed, dust confining with quick removal access panels on all sides of feeder
- 15.68” pitch diameter head and tail sprockets
- 4” flanged apron conveyor, with chains and pans designed to suit material and application
- Heavy duty pillow block bearings
- Cast rollers with chilled rim riding on ASCE crane rail
- Extra heavy duty enclosed screw take-ups
- Tail sprocket mounted speed sensor for accurate speed sensing. Doubles as a zero speed switch
- Shaft mounted speed reducer with variable speed AC or DC motor
- Model 465A Weightometer Unit, including: Suspension spanning three pan roller pitches. Dual strain gauge load cells, environmentally protected, barometric and temperature compensation
